ASIAN ICE HOCKEY

The 2025 IIHF Worlds Divison 1B will take place from April 21 to April 27 in Tallinn, Estonia. Six national teams will compete in a round-robin format, where each team plays every other team once. The group winner earns promotion to Division IA, while the last-place team will be relegated to Division II.

China has set its sights on a strong showing and could emerge as a dark horse – recent games against South Korea include a regulation win at the IIHF Asia Championship and a narrow overtime loss at the Asian Winter Games.
